Directions to the conference venue (Hanover University, Conti Tower, Königsworther Platz 1; conference registration in room 613 on the 6th floor)  >for a pdf-version click here:

1. From the airport...

  • the easiest/fastest way: take a taxi to the "Conti Hochhaus" at "Königsworther Platz" or to your hotel (for addresses see "accommodation" page); the taxi ride takes approximately 20 minutes and costs about 20 Euros

  • alternatively, you can take a train (S-Bahn no. 5, "S5", towards "Hauptbahnhof") to the main train station; the train ride takes about 20 minutes (trains running every 20 minutes); for directions from the train station to the conference see below

2. From the main train station...

  • the easiest/fastest way: take a taxi to the "Conti Hochhaus" at "Königsworther Platz" or to your hotel (for addresses see "accommodation" page); the taxi ride takes approximately 10 minutes and costs between 5 and 7 Euros

  • walk to the underground station "Kröpcke" (about 300 metres from the train station; take the main exit and walk straight on) and take either line 4 or line 5 (towards "Stöcken" or "Garbsen"; you will need a ticket for "Kurzstrecke", 1.20 Euros); get off at "Königsworther Platz" (that's the second stop) and you are right in front of the Conti Tower (the building in the photo on the "welcome" page); see map on the "accommodation" page for directions to your hotel
